  • Finding Your Place
Each of us needs to TAKE OUR PLACE in the body of Christ.  We are important to God and His plan that He has for this earth and for those who live here.  John 3:16 shows us how much God loved the world; He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him will not perish, but will have eternal life.  God gave the best thing He had to offer for us and it is Jesus.  Shouldn't we at least give Him our best?
  • Faithfulness - Part 1   Part 2
In today’s world, many appear to esteem celebrity, notoriety and fame as valued character traits.  However, ask anyone what they desire in a relationship, and you’ll find faithfulness high on the list.
  • Great Expectations - Part I Great Expectations - Part II
No matter the circumstances or how impossible the situation may seem, we can expect something better in life.
  • Potential (Part I)   Potential (Part II)
The definition of potential:  dormant ability, reserved power, untapped strength, unused success, hidden talents and capability.  See what God's Word says in relation to each of these descriptions.
  • Living Life Smarter, Not Harder Part II
More practical steps to live life smarter, not harder. (1) Having mentors in your life and (2) Taking care of the little things that need attention.
  • In Position
Jesus came to earth to redeem us, renovate us and restore us to a place of blessing.  John 10:10 reveals His purpose, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  It’s no secret that God wants to bless His children.  He wants you to have the best in life – spiritually and physically.  We are designed to reign in life.
  • Living Life Smarter, Not Harder
Each one of us,living long enough, will experience a broad range of circumstances during our life span. Some will be quite enjoyable, yet others undesirable and potentially life threatening.  How we deal with these circumstances is what makes our lives better or worse.   I believe there are some practical steps that we can apply to live a better life.  I would like to share four of these steps I have used in my own life to live it smarter, not harder.

  • God is Our Source
All believers come from the same Source and when we give to the world and to each other what we have from God, it will have it own uniqueness and flavor.  People have different resources:  gifts, talents, skills, and abilities. Yet we are derived from one Source.
  • Made
Philippians 1:6 says that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. He is not done yet! God works and lives through his creation.
  • Grace - God's Ability
Man, by God’s design, is capable of great accomplishments.  But in that design, to which we are fearfully and wonderfully made, man is capable of even greater things because of God’s grace.
  • Preference or Conviction
Everyone in this life, Christians and unbelievers alike, make choices.  Are our choices based on our preferences, or convictions?
  • Keeping a Positive Attitude
The only difference between a stumbling block and a stepping stone is your attitude.
  • Joy:  A Key Ingredient to Abundant Life
The joy of the Lord is unspeakable and full of glory, and it will change your life - if you let it.
  • Will You Allow God to Interrupt Your Life?
Are you ready to accept the challenge? Will you allow God to interrupt your life?
  • Reaching Out
Throughout the bible, there are two major "themes" that stand out - loving God, and loving people.  One of the best ways we can love God and love people at the same time is to reach others for Christ.

  • What on Earth are You Doing?
The Lord had placed you on this earth for His divine purpose.  What on earth are you doing for God?
  • Getting an Attitude
The Body of Christ currently upon the earth is here for such a time as this!  To usher in the greatest outpouring of God’s spirit and to reap the largest Harvest of Souls from the initial seed planted by God -- Jesus Christ. To take the Gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. To turn every place they go "upside down". The common denominator in all of this will be the Believers’ exhibiting an attitude of faith and expectation.
  • The Day of Our Dependence
Depending upon the Lord results in our total freedom! What does determine our rights is the day that we make a declaration of “In God we Trust” - the Day of our Dependence.
  • A Good Thing, or a God Thing?
A lot of people today are like Saul in some ways. They think what they are doing is good and all right. However, just because something is good doesn’t necessarily make it right. Only the things which God tells us to do are right, or a “God thing.”
  • The God of the Now
What we are in need of has already been legally purchased for us, so we need to obtain what is already rightfully ours!  How? by faith in the Word of God.
  • Love, The More Excellent Way
Did you know that walking in love is key to winning souls for God's Kingdom? God is able to manifest Himself to the lost through His people reflecting His love. For this reason, Jesus commands us to love, both our neighbor and enemies.
  • Spectators or Participators
The only way we can become a doer (participator) consistently is when we continue to know and not forget or let slip (Heb. 2:1, Amp.) what God wants us to do.
  • Seasoned Speech
Words are a powerful tool. If it were not so, God would not have told us that death and life lie in the power of the tongue!  We are to speak with wholesome, winsome speech.
  • Fact, Fiction or Truth
The Word of God is truth! It is a higher form of facts.
  • The Life of Forgiveness
Jesus lived a life of forgiveness. His example is one that you and I are to follow.
  • How to Stir Yourself Up
Every born again believer has the capability to stir themselves up, whether it is a gift of God like Timothy had or the fruit of the Spirit (which consists of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance).
  • Gifts Fit for a King
The Christmas season is again upon us when we celebrate the birth of the Savior of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ.  This newsletter article is written by a good friend, whom I've asked to share the following message. I heard it several years ago and it blessed me so much, that I've asked him to share it with you.
  • The Spirit of Determination
Hold on tight to the promises of God, and be determined to WIN!
